We are about to have a new president. We are about to see this new president take office. The first African American president.
I am so glad to be alive to see this happen. This is so exciting, and should be exciting no matter what your politics are, this is a big deal. This is a day that will be in the history books, my kids are going to learn about today in history class, they are going to come home and ask me where I was today.
I would love to tell them I was there, but unfortunately I can't be, but I will tell them I was at home, watching it on television.
This is amazing, and I am just happy to be alive to see this happen. :)

I plan to stay in with Mikey and order pizza. :) Much better than being alone. I'm gonna drink some Sparkling Grape Juice (it's my champagne! haha) and Cosmo's (yes, with alcohol!). Oh, and we are probably going to watch the ball drop (I have a bad habit of missing it... On accident.).

Smoking, I've been saying it should be illegal for years. Since I was about 7 years old actually, I'd like to see that happen.
Not that it truly matters, most people will do it anyway.
And, hey idiots... Pot is already illegal. They can't take it away if it is already prohibited. That's why you get arrested if you are "holdin'."

I am doing a 100 icon challenge for Nightmare Before Christmas (I wanted to do Hocus Pocus but A.] I don't have it on DVD to cap myself {and I'm not fond of using other people's, not that they are bad--it's just easier.} and B.] For some reason I wasn't sure if it counted as a Disney movie. I will probably do that after I am done with this one.) So be looking out for the BIG post! I am going to post them all at once here, not sure on disney100 probably but I have to let them know. I gotta think about it.
I have five done already, and would have more but my computer has been out of commission for about three days. But I have three months to get this done. Yay!

Plus I will be doing icons from just about every other movie I own! (Eventually.) OMGYAY! Especially Disney, I'm on a big Disney kick right now...

I just gout out of the shower... The had to literally scrub my legs raw to get the paint off, and I didn't even get all of it! There is still some on my legs, arms, but mostly on my feet. It sucks because it's drying out my skin and making me itchy. :(

Mom and I are going to lunch, hopefully soon, at Scanlan's and when we get back I need to get some homework done. We also have to go rent Annie Hall so I can watch that and get the review done. Ugh.

McCain just wants the woman vote that Obama eliminated when he eliminated Clinton. McCain used the "experience" excuse for why Obama should not be elected... Palin has much less experience than that. She is definately a liability.

Well, Im pretty fond of the cute sundresses, especially with the cardigans over them. :)
And the fact that girly everything is back!

Oh, Id say from about 1900-1950 :)... But Im a big fan of the eighties too!

The only thing Im not fond of is the late 1800s and Elizabethan... but only because of the big foofy collars.

If by stereotypical you mean dresses and tons of pink and high heels? Then no. But if you asked a boy if I dressed like a boy or girl, theyd say girlie. I wear a lot of pink and bright colors, but I wear jeans and tshirts. :)

7. Do you put a lot of effort into how you look?:
Oh, yes. I wear makeup and straighten my hair... I put "outfits" together well before I need to... Yes...

Oh, anything from the 18th century. :)

Prints. Or solids... I dont know. From my closet Id say most of the newest things Ive bought are prints.

Well, really the only thing I DONT wear is neutrals [at least, not often] but I am pretty much literally addicted to bright colors!

On March 31 2007, for one hour, Sydney made a powerful statement about the greatest contributor to global warming – coal-fired electricity – by turning off its lights. Over 2.2 million Sydney residents and over 2,100 businesses switched off, leading to a 10.2% energy reduction across the city. What began as one city taking a stand against global warming caught the attention of the world.

In 2008, 24 global cities will participate in Earth Hour at 8pm on March 29. Earth Hour is the highlight of a major campaign to encourage businesses, communities and individuals to take the simple steps needed to cut their emissions on an ongoing basis. It is about simple changes that will collectively make a difference – from businesses turning off their lights when their offices are empty, to households turning off appliances rather than leaving them on standby.

I have free time today so, I thought I would do some graphics...

So, requests? Im too lazy to search and Id be afraid Id use the wrong picture, so Ill need either the picture or a link to the image... Ill take up to 2 each... Headers, banners, icons... I dont do color bars though... never tried. Never done a mood theme either... and they take too long as well, but I will be trying my hand at one probably over the summer when all Ill have is free time! haha

Comment this entry with your requests, you can even request an icon similar to one I have already made [click the tag graphics at the bottom of this entry] just customized with what you want... It wont be exactly the same, because I dont save in steps like some makers do I only save the finished product. :)

I will be working on this until Monday [Tuesday is back to school] so you have until then to request, but its best if you do it today or tomorrow.
